Description

The MC210CS is a media converter designed to convert 1000BASE-LX/LH fiber cable to 1000Base-T copper cable or vice versa. The MC210CS is designed to IEEE802.3ab, 1000Base-T, IEEE802.3z, and 1000Base-LX/LH standards. It can be used with multimode fiber cable using an SC type connector. The MC210CS supports the longwave (LX) laser specification at full transmission speed. It operates at 1310nm for both sending and receiving data.

Other features of this module include the ability to be used as a stand-alone device (no enclosure required) or with a TP-LINK 19" chassis. Additionally, it automatically detects MDI/MDI-X mode for the TX port and includes status LEDs on a front panel. The MC210CS extends optical transmission distance up to 15 kilometers when using single-mode fiber.
