Description
The OLT (Optical Line Terminal) is a device used in passive optical local area networks (PON LAN), such as an optical switch with GPON ports. The LW3008C is compatible with the GPON standard (ITU-T G.984.x), operating with a bandwidth of 2.5 Gbps downstream and 1.25 Gbps upstream. This device has a Standalone format and supports up to 1024 ONTs within a radius of 20 km (physical) or 60 km (logical).
General Features
Configurable to operate in redundancy mode between GPON ports on the same OLT (Type B redundancy considering up to 32 ONTs per redundant port).
The LW3008C has the following interfaces:
8 GPON ports compatible with ITU-T G.984 standard (SFP);
4 1/10 GE SFP/SFP+ uplink ports;
2 AC/DC power supply slots (Redundancy)¹;
120 Gbps switching capacity.
