The DGE-560T Gigabit PCIe Network Adapter is a high-performance adapter designed for the high-speed PCI Express Bus architecture. The DGE-560T offers higher bandwidth, reliability, and more functionality than standard PCI network cards. Advanced features such as 802.3x flow control, SNMP for network monitoring and management, and Jumbo Frame interoperability with your existing network equipment are also supported.
Advanced features and security
The DGE-560T features integrated detection of Ethernet VLAN-tagged 802.1Q frames for use in networks that support 802.1Q VLAN features such as subjects, traffic control, and security. It also supports 802.1p priority tagging for traffic prioritization.
Fail-safe protection
When multiple network adapters are used, the DGE-560T provides failover protection in the event that one adapter malfunctions. In this situation, traffic from your server or workstation simply passes through the remaining functional network adapter connections, ensuring secure and uninterrupted data transmission. Best of all, with the DGE-560T’s “Hot-Plug” support, a replacement adapter can be installed without having to power down the system*. The DGE-560T also supports TCP, UDP, and IP Checksum Calculation, as well as TCP Segmentation to improve overall system performance by shifting CPU-intensive tasks away from the host CPU and onto the DGE-560T adapter.
