Auto-iris lenses have a fixed focal length, like standard lenses, and are therefore available in
different versions that each angle of view wider or more focused.
The diaphragm is rather automatically controlled by an internal motor that opens and closes
depending on the brightness. This allows the camera to shoot the best conditions of almost
night as well as in full sunlight and avoid excessive darkening and whitening of the image.
