Description

Installation requirements

  • LTU PtMP access point (like the LTU-Rocket model).
  • Phillips screwdriver for wall mounting
  • Category 6 (or higher) shielded cabling and shielded RJ45 connectors are required for all Ethernet cable connections.
  • Surge protection must be used at all outdoor installations. We recommend using two Ethernet surge protectors (model ETH-SP-G2), one near the device and one at the building entry point. The ETH-SP-G2 will absorb surges and safely discharge them to the ground.
