Installation requirements
- For indoor applications, use Category 5 (or higher) UTP cabling certified for indoor use.
- For outdoor applications, shielded Category 5 (or higher) cabling must be used for all wired Ethernet connections. For improved ESD protection, connect a ground wire (not included) to the rear panel of the EdgeRouter.
