Description
TRENDnet's TFC-1000 Series Fiber Media Converter transforms 1000Base-T (Gigabit Copper) media to 1000Base-SX/LX (Gigabit Fiber) media and vice versa. The 1000Base-T port supports a full-duplex Gigabit connection at wired speed with RJ45 connector. The Gigabit fiber connection supports either a shortwave (SX) or longwave (LX) optical laser with single mode SC type connector. This converter gives your Gigabit Copper connection the ability to interconnect with fiber connections up to 20km away. Featuring an optional 16-slot EIA-19" rackmount chassis, the TFC Series converters are the perfect solution for various fiber media.
