Description

TRENDnet's TFC-1000 Series Fiber Media Converter transforms 1000Base-T (Gigabit Copper) media to 1000Base-SX/LX (Gigabit Fiber) media and vice versa. The 1000Base-T port supports a full-duplex Gigabit connection at up to 100Mbps speed. by cable with RJ45 connector. The Gigabit fiber connection supports shortwave (SX) or longwave (LX) optical laser with multimode or singlemode SC type connector. Please see the detail under "specification". This converter offers you a Your Gigabit Copper connection the ability to interconnect to fiber links at a distance of up to 550 meters. Featuring the 16-slot EIA-19" rackmount chassis, the TFC series of converters are the perfect solution for various fiber media.
