Description

NOTIFIER FST-951 Series intelligent thermal detectors are designed for both performance and aesthetics. A new modern, sleek, contemporary design and advanced thermal technologies make the FST-951 Series ideal for both system operation and building design. Point ID address, set via rotary decimal switches, provides specific detector locations. The series includes 135°F/57°C fixed temperature, rate of rise, and 180°F/88°C fixed high temperature detectors. These thermal detectors provide intelligent, effective property protection in a variety of applications. Detectors are available for FlashScan® and CLIP applications as designated.

  • Rate of Rise Model (FST-951R), 15°F (8.3°C) per minute.
  • High temperature model (FST-951H) factory preset at 190°F (88°C).
  • Device addressable.
  • Compatible with FlashScan® and CLIP protocol systems.
  • Rotating decimal addressing (1-99 on CLIP systems, 1-159 on FlashScan systems).
  • Two-wire SLC connection.
  • The visible LEDs “blink” each time the unit is addressed.
  • 360° field of view angle of visual alarm indicators (two LEDs). LEDs flash green under normal conditions and turn solid red in alarm.
  • Comprehensive communications and built-in device type identification.
  • Remote test function from the panel.
  • Built-in functional test switch activated by external magnet.
  • Walk test with address display (an address of 121 will flash)
  • LED detector 12- (pause) -1).
  • Low standby current.
  • Built-in tamper-proof feature.
  • Designed for direct mounting on surface or electrical box.
  • Sealed against back pressure.
  • Plugs into a separate base for easy installation and maintenance.
