Description
The FCM-1 addressable control module provides Notifier intelligent fire alarm control panels with a circuit for notification appliances (horns, strobes, speakers, etc.). Addressability allows the FCM-1 to be activated by panel programming, based on a zone or coverage area selection.
Characteristics
• It is automatically identified as a control module in the control panel.
• Requires power (for speakers, strobes, etc.) or audio (for speakers).
• The LED “blinks” green whenever a communication is received from the control panel and lights up solid red when activated.
• LED blinking can be deselected globally (affects all devices).
• High immunity to electrical noise.
• Can be used to control 24 volt NAC power or audio up to 70.7 Vrms.
• Wide LED viewing angle.
• SEMS screws with clamping plates for easy wiring.
• Rotating decimal addressing: 01 - 159 in FlashScan protocol and 01 - 99 in CLIP protocol.
• Speaker, siren and strobe applications may be wired for Class B or A.
