Description
The neutral white exterior and low-profile, unobtrusive housing make the TD Heat Detector blend into any ceiling. The plastic housing fits into any standard square or octagonal electrical box with a trim plate. The unit will not protrude more than 1” below the finished ceiling surface. By utilizing a bi-metal disc as the heat sensing element, an alarm is activated when the air temperature exceeds the unit’s rated level. Only when the air temperature drops below the rated level does the detector automatically reset.

Specs
The thermal detector shall be a Mircom TD 135 or TD 200 model, as appropriate. The unit shall be a fixed temperature self-recovery type, designed for low profile mounting. The detector shall be constructed of neutral white, fire resistant thermoplastic material. Operation shall consist of closure of the NO contact to initiate an alarm detection circuit. When the air temperature again falls below the detector's rated temperature, the contact shall return to the normal position.
