Description
Mircom's MPS-800(U) Series manual fire alarm stations provide manual activation of the fire alarm. The new MPS-800 Series uses raised symbols and icons instead of printed text making them universally recognizable.
Manual pull stations are available for single-state activation in double-acting models. MPS-800 (U) manual pull stations are constructed of high-quality thermoplastic polycarbonate resin “LEXAN” that withstands high temperatures without deformation. The operating temperature range is -40ºC to 66ºC.
MPS-800 (U) Conventional Manual Override Stations are accessible from the front for wiring and termination while mounted, making installation easy. Manual Override Stations can be mounted over simple rectangular electrical gang boxes, and mounting holes allow for easy alignment to the wall. The “U” suffix indicates the UL Listed version. All manual override stations must be installed in accordance with specific requirements outlined in UL, ULC, and applicable national or local codes.
