MIRCOM MIX-4046 FX400 Series Supervisory Control Module

The MIX-4046 Supervised Output Module is an intelligent addressable device designed for use with a compatible MGC control panel that provides high, reliable and secure data exchange rates via a two-way communication protocol. The MIX-4046 Supervised Output Module can control Alarm Notifiers, Speakers or Fire Emergency Telephones.

The module is compatible with MGC FT-300A and FH-100A emergency telephones and provides a supervisory/busy tone “ON” for an off-hook handset.

The module supports a Class A or Class B circuit with the following characteristics:
- One NAC Alarm Notification circuit, 24VDC @ 2 A
- A 25 VRMS @ 2 A Audio Evacuation circuit.
- A 70 VRMS @ 2 A Audio Evacuation circuit.
- An Emergency Telephone circuit.

The module has a panel-controlled LED indicator. The LED flashes during normal operation and remains on steadily when the device is in alarm condition.

The address of each module is programmed using the MIX-4090 programming tool. To set the address on this device, disconnect it from the loop or ensure that the loop it is connected to is disconnected from the panel and shorted between the SCL+ and SLC- inputs of the device. Failure to follow any of these steps may change the address programming of sensors previously configured on the loop.

• Up to 240 MIX-4000 Series devices can be connected in any combination, on a single SLC signaling loop.
  
• Mounts in standard 4 inch electrical gang box or double gang rectangular electrical gang box.
  
• The indicator LED provides the status of the module.
  
• The same device can handle applications with fixed tone audio visual alarm notification (NAC Circuits), Speakers and Fire Emergency Telephones.
