Re-transfer printing:
Retransfer printing, a technology used on HID FARGO® HDP card printing equipment, diffuses ink onto a receiving transfer film (HDP film). The printed film is then fused to the card surface. For YMCKK ribbons, the "Y" refers to the "Yellow" stripe, the "M" to "Magenta", the "C" to "Cyan", the "K" is a "Black" stripe typically used for text and bar code printing and the second "K" is for black reverse side printing.
