Description

Quickly verify fiber activity, polarity and connectivity

Simply place it in front of the fiber endpoint or port and a light and tone will indicate an active fiber (850nm to 1625nm) – no setup or interpretation required.

This pocket tool tests:

  • Singular mode
  • multimode
  • UPC and APC patch cords
  • Ports with non-contact/non-polluting detector

The LightBeat™ feature flashes the LED, indicating power and good battery status, and a timer turns off the FiberLert™ detector after five minutes of inactivity to extend battery life (2xAAA, included). Rugged design includes a convenient pocket clip

Characteristics

  • Detects optical power in SM and MM fiber (850 to 1625 nm)
