Description
The IPOTS-COM is an optional card for Endurance Series panels models ES-50XI and ES 200XI; it is a dual technology communicator (POTS Telephone and Ethernet IP). POTS transmits system status (alarms, troubles, panel power failure, etc.) to a central station over the public switched telephone network. The IP Communicator's Internet monitoring capability sends alarm signals over the Internet, saving the monthly cost of two dedicated business telephone lines. Although not required, the secondary telephone line can be retained providing backup communication over the public switched telephone line. Optional GSM cellular reporting is available using CELL-MOD or CELL-CAB-FL.
