Description
The Edwards Est SIGA-HRD is an intelligent, fixed temperature, rate of rise heat detector. It monitors the surrounding air temperature and analyses the sensor data to determine whether to trigger an alarm. The rate of rise heat function quickly detects a fast-moving, flaming fire. The fixed temperature heat function detects the fire when the air temperature near the detector exceeds the alarm set point.
Signature Series smoke detectors incorporate advanced detection technology into a practical design that increases efficiency, saves installation time and reduces costs. It also expands the property's protection capabilities. Continuous self-diagnostics ensure long-term reliability. While the latest thermistor technology makes these detectors ideal wherever reliable heat detection is required.
Edwards Est SIGA-HRD mounting bases have wiring terminals. They are accessible from the “room side” after the base is mounted to the electrical box. The bases mount to North American 1-gang boxes and 3½- or 4-inch octagonal boxes, 1½-inch (38 mm) deep. They mount to BESA and European 1-gang boxes with 60.3 mm fixing centers.
