Genesis LED G1 Series LED horns and strobes feature a sleek, low-profile design and energy-efficient technology that makes them less expensive to install and operate by reducing overall costs. The high-performance LEDs require less circuitry and power supplies. These new devices are designed with energy efficiency and life safety in mind.
The Genesis LED G1 Series utilizes high-efficiency optics, combined with proprietary electronics, to deliver a highly controlled and efficiently focused light distribution pattern in exchange for lower current requirements. The strobes feature a field-selectable 15, 30, or 75 cd light output.
Compared to Xenon-type flashers, Genesis LED G1 Series fixtures require fewer power supplies and often a smaller wire gauge, which lightens conduit requirements. They are also backwards compatible with older flashers, so there is no need to replace all existing fixtures to upgrade to the new LED technology. In fact, G1 flashers can be combined on the same circuit and used in the same field of view as Xenon-based flashers. This makes the Genesis LED G1 Series ideal for both new installations and retrofits.
Field-configurable sound output levels provide the flexibility modern life safety projects demand, while the Genesis LED control protocol keeps multiple strobes on compatible NAC circuits synchronized within NFPA 72 requirements.
Ease of maintenance is another area where the G1 Series appliances excel. Innovative concealed diagnostic test points provide easy access to test the appliance's circuitry while it is mounted.
