The MR46 provides a maximum aggregate frame rate of 3.5Gbps with simultaneous 2.4GHz and 5GHz radios. A third dedicated radio provides real-time WIDS/WIPS with automated RF optimization, and a fourth integrated radio provides Bluetooth scanning and beaconing.
With the combination of cloud management, high-performance hardware, multiple radios, and advanced software features, the MR46 is an exceptional platform for the most demanding uses, including high-density, high-bandwidth deployments or high-performance applications such as voice and high-definition video.
MR46 and Meraki Cloud Management
MR46 management is done through the Meraki cloud, with an intuitive browser-based interface that enables rapid deployment without the need for expensive training or certifications. Because the MR46 is automatically configured and managed via the web, it can be deployed at a remote location in minutes, even without IT staff on site.

5GHz 4x4:4 radio and 2.4GHz 4x4:4 radio deliver a combined dual-radio aggregate frame rate of 3.5Gbps, with up to 2402Mbps on the 5GHz band and 1147Mbps on the 2.4GHz band. Technologies such as transmit beamforming and enhanced receive sensitivity allow the MR46 to support higher client densities than typical enterprise-class access points, resulting in better performance for more clients, from each AP.
Multi-User Multiple Input Multiple Output (MU-MIMO)
Supporting 802.11ax features, the MR46 offers MU-MIMO and OFDMA for more efficient transmission to multiple clients. Particularly suited for environments with numerous mobile devices, MU-MIMO allows multiple clients to receive data simultaneously.
