|
● The phone offers a user-friendly interface and provides a user experience similar to traditional telephony.

Graphic display
|
● The 800×480, 24-bit color, 5-inch WVGA display provides scrollable access to calling features and text-based XML applications.

Handset
|
● The headset is a standard wideband-capable audio headset (connects via RJ-9 port).
● The standard coiled cable has a custom end to route the cable hidden underneath the phone (cable length is approximately 55 cm [21 in] coiled and up to 183 cm (72 in) extended).
● The phone is hearing aid compatible (HAC) and meets Federal Communications Commission (FCC) loudness requirements for the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Section 508 loudness requirements can be achieved using industry-standard in-line headphone amplifiers, such as the Walker Equipment W-10 or CE-100 amplifiers. The dial pad is also ADA compliant.

Speakerphone
|
● A full-duplex speakerphone gives you the flexibility to make and receive hands-free calls. For added security, audible dual-tone multi-frequency (DTMF) tones are masked when using speakerphone mode.

Analog headphones
|
● The analog headset jack is a standard wideband compatible RJ-9 audio port.

auxiliary port
|
● You can use an auxiliary port to support electronic hook control with third-party headphones connected to it.

ethernet switch
|
● An internal 2-port Cisco Ethernet switch allows direct connection to a 10/100/1000BASE-T (IEEE 802.3i/802.3u/802.3ab) Ethernet network through an RJ-45 interface with single LAN connectivity for the phone and a collocated PC.
● The system administrator can designate separate VLANs (IEEE 802.1Q) for the PC and phone, providing increased security and reliability of voice and data traffic.

Dual position foot support

● The screen is easy to see and the buttons and keys are easy to use. The two-position kickstand supports 35 and 50 degree viewing angles; you can remove the kickstand for wall mounting, with mounting holes located at the base of the phone.

Wall mounting

● You can mount the phone on a wall with an optional wall mount kit (can be ordered separately).

Physical security

● The phone is compatible with the Kensington Security Slot (K-Slot) anti-theft system.

● IEEE Power over Ethernet Class 2. The phone is compatible with IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at blade switches and supports Cisco Discovery Protocol and Link Layer Discovery Protocol - Power over Ethernet (LLDP-PoE).

Cisco IP Phone Power Cube 4
|
● This optional power cube is used as an AC to DC (48V) power source for non-PoE deployments. Use of the Power Cube 4 also requires the use of one of the country-appropriate AC cords.
